THIRD time is a charm...

So we made our yearly Spring Break trip to visit the Kennedy Clan in late March (sorry so late on getting the post out). It was our THIRD trip and our first time with THREE kids.

This time around seemed a bit more simpler. We have gotten to know our limitations in terms of length of time in car. We stayed in the same place at Myrtle Beach as the previous year so there were no surprises there. It was just a really nice vacation. Now, I'm not sure if my husband would agree with that statement since he did a whole lot of driving this time around. It seemed to work easier if I was the one turning around to soothe EJ whenever he needed it. Yes...it DID seem to take forever to get to Rock Hill and FOREVER to get home since we had to make so many pitstops.

When we arrived LJ and LK were bursting with excitement to see their cousins!! The next day we headed to downtown Charlotte and,of course, had to take the lightrail down to ImaginOn! We had a nice lunch and then headed back to Rock Hill to watch the Kennedy girls play a little soccer. The next day was a busy one! We headed to the Columbia Zoo, one of our favorites, and then travelled onward to Myrtle Beach.

The next three days were spent on the beach in beautiful weather!! As always, my wonderful sis-in-law was well prepared. She made each of the kids awesome beach/pool bags with everything they could possibly need - including flash lights for our annual "crab hunt" on the beach at night! She also had a little Easter egg hunt planned which was fun for all! We had dinner out both nights. When we walked into the House of Blues (just for dinner) with the four adults and six kids I swear people were looking at us like we were CRAZY! Luckily, the kids were pretty well behaved when eating out...and we even got a few compliments.

Already looking forward to next year!!!

I didn't have time to edit the pics...just kinda threw them in the slideshow. A few of my favorites include LJ playing golf on the beach, LK dancing carefree on the beach, Cooper dropping sand on his sister's back, my baby boy smiling handsomely, and Zoe with the lady behind her cleaning aquarium.
