What's all the Twitter about??

Okay...the blog world is buzzing about Twitter. To satisfy my curiosity I went and checked it out. From what I can infer, it's basically a way to inform others (friends, family, whoever) about one thing...what you're doing. So, you could just twitter that you're really into a new cd, sick of your job, in the middle of a traffic jam, etc. You can twitter from your cell phone as well. I will be playing around with this Twitter idea to see if I like it, so you will notice it on my sidebar. It may be a nice way for me to easily record milestones or funny happenings with LJ and LK!
